Biography

Trumpet player Avishai Cohen started his jazz career playing - amongst others - with his siblings Yuval and Anat in the early 2000s. In addition to uncountable appearances as a Bandleader, Co-Leader and Sideman, he finally makes his applauded ECM-debut in 2016 with “Into The Silence.” After three more releases on the legendary Munich Label – “Cross My Palm With Silver,” the duo recording “Playing the Room” and the first album of his “Electric” project “Big Vicious” - he also released his quartet effort “Naked Truth” in 2022.

Avishai Cohen and band continue to perform at venues around the globe touching audiences with the various colours, textures and moods they are able to conjure.
