The invitation from The Audiobarn…

‘Join us this Saturday 6th September 2025 (10:30 – 16:00) for our latest Absolute Sounds Event which will showcase multiple manufacturers with brand new product releases from Magico and Dan D’agostino!’

‘We have just received our demonstration Dan D’agostino Pendulum which is fully spec’d with the streaming module and MC phonostage, this will be the heart of the system on display.’

‘Our Thiele TA01 Zero Tracking Force turntable with Analogue Relax MC cartridge will be utilising the optional MC stage in the Pendulum. The event will be supported by Helmut Thiele himself, a real treat for analogue aficionados!’

‘Also being demonstrated are the Magico S2 loudspeakers, building on the success we’ve had with the latest S3 the S2 becomes a serious proposition with a more achievable price-point and form factor.’

This was my first highly anticipated visit to the Audiobarn. I have often scanned their website shortlisting a number of components which sparked my interest. I signed up to the above invitation without hesitation and though I faced a two hour drive from the South, I was not disappointed. The venue hosts a welcoming demonstration room within stunning grounds. A perfect atmosphere to kickback, relax, listen, share and discuss music and hi-fi with other enthusiasts.
