Quincy Jones passed away at his home in Bel Air California at the age of 91.

Quincy Jones has collaborated with the likes of Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Sarah Vaughn, Chaka Khan, Brothers Johnson, Billy Eckstine, Dinah Washington, Dizzy Gillespie, Ella Fitzgerald, Ashford & Simpson, Barry White, James Ingram, George Benson, Michael McDonald, Luther Vandross, Patti Austin (his Goddaughter) Donna Summer, Gene Krupa and Tevin Campbell to name just a few.

His diverse film score & soundtrack collaborations range from the likes of The Color Purple, The Italian Job (encouraging Michael Caine to sing) In the Heat of the Night, In Cold Blood, Mackenna’s Gold, Hey Landlord Theme, The Wiz original soundtrack, Roots & The Lost Man to name just a few.

His television theme show compositions include Ironside, Sanford and Son, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, The Simpsons & Family Guy to name just a few.

His legendary status is cemented forever.
